Head East

Head East is a rock band that originated in the United States in the late 1960s. The band was formed in 1969 in the state of Illinois by a group of friends who were passionate about music. The band was originally known as "The TimeAtions" and consisted of members who had played together in a variety of local bands.

Head East rose to fame in the 1970s, during which they released several successful albums and had several hits on the charts. Some of their most popular songs include "Never Been Any Reason," "Love Me Tonight," and "Since You Been Gone."

In 1975, Head East achieved their greatest commercial success with their album "Flat as a Pancake," which featured the hit single "Never Been Any Reason." The song has since become a classic rock radio staple and is considered one of the band's signature songs.

The band's music is characterized by their use of melodic guitar riffs, powerful vocals, and a mix of hard rock and pop rock elements. Their music has been compared to other bands of the era, such as Styx and Journey.

Throughout their career, Head East underwent several personnel changes, but the band continued to tour and perform, even into the 21st century. They have released more than a dozen albums over the years, and their music continues to be enjoyed by fans of classic rock.
