America
America is a rock band that formed in London in 1970. The group consists of three members: Gerry Beckley, Dewey Bunnell, and Dan Peek (who left the band in 1977). The band is known for their harmonies, acoustic guitar-driven sound, and folk-influenced melodies.
America released their self-titled debut album in 1971, which included the hit single "A Horse with No Name." The song became an international hit, reaching the top of the charts in the United States and several other countries. Other hit singles by America include "Ventura Highway," "Tin Man," and "Sister Golden Hair."
Over the years, America has continued to release new music and tour extensively. They have released more than 20 albums, with their most recent being "Half Century" in 2019. The band has also received several awards and honors, including a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
America's music has been described as a blend of rock, pop, and folk, with influences from artists such as The Beatles and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Their distinctive sound and harmonies have made them one of the most recognizable bands of the 1970s, and they continue to be popular with audiences today.
Except for their first and last albums, all America albums recorded as the original trio, including their first "Greatest Hits" compilation, begin with the letter "H"...check it out! -GSH

you just can't go wrong with this.
