The Doors
The Doors were an American rock band that formed in Los Angeles, California in 1965. The band consisted of Jim Morrison on vocals, Ray Manzarek on keyboards, Robby Krieger on guitar, and John Densmore on drums.
The Doors became famous for their unique sound, which blended elements of blues, psychedelic rock, and poetry. Their music often had a dark and moody quality, with Morrison's brooding lyrics and intense stage presence adding to the band's mystique.
Some of the Doors' most famous songs include "Light My Fire," "Break On Through (To The Other Side)," "The End," and "Riders On The Storm." The band released eight studio albums between 1967 and 1971, with Morrison's death in 1971 effectively ending the band's run.
Despite their relatively short career, The Doors had a major impact on rock music and continue to be celebrated by fans and musicians alike. Their music remains popular and influential to this day, and the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993.
