The band consists of three members: Tony Scalzo (vocals, bass, keyboards), Miles Zuniga (vocals, guitar), and Joey Shuffield (drums). Fastball rose to fame in the late 1990s with their hit song "The Way," which peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1998. The song, with its catchy melody and storytelling lyrics, tells the story of an elderly couple who disappear during a road trip to a new life in California.
