The Human Beinz were a rock band formed in 1964 in Youngstown, Ohio, United States. The original lineup consisted of Dick Belly, Mel Pachuta, Ting Markulin, and Mike Tatman. They were known for their energetic and raw sound, which drew influence from garage rock, rhythm and blues, and soul music. The band's biggest hit was "Nobody but Me," which was released in 1967 and reached #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song featured a distinctive guitar riff and catchy chorus, and has been covered by several other artists over the years. Despite their success with "Nobody but Me," the Human Beinz struggled to replicate its commercial performance with subsequent releases. They continued to tour and record throughout the late 1960s and early 1970s, but eventually disbanded in the mid-1970s. Today, the Human Beinz are regarded as an influential band within the garage rock and proto-punk genres, and "Nobody but Me" remains a popular oldies radio staple.
