Pat Benatar is an American singer, songwriter, and four-time Grammy Award winner. She was born on January 10, 1953, in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Lindenhurst, Long Island. She began singing in the late 1970s and achieved significant commercial success in the early 1980s with a string of hit songs. Benatar's music is a blend of rock, pop, and new wave, with powerful vocals and hard-driving guitar riffs. Some of her most popular songs include "Heartbreaker," "Hit Me with Your Best Shot," "Love Is a Battlefield," and "We Belong." She has sold over 30 million records worldwide and has been inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
