Stillwater was a Southern rock band that was active in the 1970s and early 1980s. The band was originally formed in 1973 in Warner Robins, Georgia, and went through several lineup changes over the years. Stillwater released two albums during their career: "Stillwater" in 1977 and "I Reserve The Right!" in 1980. The band's music was characterized by their blend of rock, country, and blues influences, and their songs often featured lyrics about Southern life and culture. Although Stillwater never achieved mainstream success, they were popular in their home state of Georgia and had a dedicated following of fans. After the band broke up in the early 1980s, several of its members went on to pursue other musical projects. It's worth noting that the name Stillwater has also been used by several other bands, including a progressive rock band from Vermont and a fictional band from the 2000 movie "Almost Famous."
