The Association
The Association is an American rock band that was formed in California in 1965. The band's original lineup consisted of six members: Jules Alexander, Jim Yester, Brian Cole, Russ Giguere, Ted Bluechel Jr., and Bob Page.
The Association became known for their vocal harmonies and folk rock sound, which was a popular genre in the 1960s. Their biggest hits include "Windy," "Cherish," and "Never My Love," which are considered to be some of the most iconic songs of the era.
Over the years, the band has gone through several lineup changes, but they have continued to tour and perform. Throughout, the band has managed to maintain a degree of representation by original members.
The Association was inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2003, and their music continues to be celebrated and enjoyed by fans of classic rock and folk rock.
