Heart
Heart is an American rock band that was formed in Seattle, Washington in the early 1970s. The band was originally composed of sisters Ann Wilson (vocals) and Nancy Wilson (guitar), as well as several other members who would come and go over the years.
Heart first achieved commercial success in the mid-1970s with the release of their albums "Dreamboat Annie" (1975) and "Little Queen" (1977). These albums featured hit songs such as "Crazy on You," "Magic Man," and "Barracuda," which showcased the band's unique blend of hard rock, folk, and acoustic elements.
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Heart continued to release successful albums and singles, including "What About Love," "Alone," and "All I Wanna Do Is Make Love to You." The band's sound evolved during this time, incorporating more mainstream pop and rock elements, but they continued to be known for their powerful vocals and strong musicianship.
In addition to their commercial success, Heart has also been recognized for their influence and impact on the music industry. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013, and have been praised for their trailblazing role as women in rock music.
Heart has undergone several lineup changes over the years, but Ann and Nancy Wilson have remained the core members of the band throughout their career.
