Firefall
Firefall is an American rock band that was formed in Boulder, Colorado in 1974. The band's founding members were Jock Bartley, Larry Burnett, Mark Andes, Rick Roberts, and Michael Clarke. The band's name was inspired by a Native American ceremonial event called the "Firefall," which took place in Yosemite National Park.
Firefall's music is a blend of rock, country, and folk, with a focus on strong melodies, intricate harmonies, and memorable hooks. The band's sound is often described as "soft rock," with an emphasis on acoustic guitar and keyboards.
Firefall released their self-titled debut album in 1976, which included the hit singles "You Are the Woman" and "Livin' Ain't Livin'." The album was a commercial success, reaching platinum status and earning critical acclaim.
Over the years, Firefall has undergone several lineup changes, but the band has continued to tour and record music. Some of the band's other popular songs include "Just Remember I Love You," "Strange Way," and "Cinderella."
Today, Firefall remains a beloved band from the 1970s and continues to attract new fans with their classic rock sound.
