Blind Faith was a British supergroup that was formed in 1969. The band consisted of Eric Clapton on guitar, Ginger Baker on drums, Steve Winwood on keyboards and vocals, and Ric Grech on bass guitar and violin. The band was formed after the dissolution of two of rock's most iconic bands of the 1960s, Cream and Traffic. Clapton and Baker were both members of Cream, while Winwood and Grech were members of Traffic. Blind Faith released only one self-titled album in 1969, which was a commercial and critical success. The album featured the hit single "Can't Find My Way Home," which was written and sung by Steve Winwood. Despite the album's success, Blind Faith was short-lived. The band's members were uncomfortable with the attention they received from the media and the public, and they disbanded after just one tour. Despite their brief existence, Blind Faith is remembered as one of the most influential bands of the late 1960s. Their self-titled album is considered a classic of the era, and their members went on to have successful careers in other bands and as solo artists. Blind Faith (1969)
